crazy talk

daisy daisy doodle me
in your study I wish to be
let me lay like dust upon your desk
make you smile with my attempted jest

observation shows me this
that you radiate for me
is it nerves
is it joy
is it surprise
im a girl
not a boy

do you see deeper
beyond the sex
look upon me
reclined on your desk

do you see the lustre of love
coming from the stream of looks
so
put your books between my knees
and keep on viewing
if you please

for I would go far
to explore  our pleasures
consideration
is the key
and with you
I wouldn't mind
complicity

I shall be the flesh of bookmark
to bring the fiction to a pause
thumb your pages
and I shall still watch
and banish from this house
all the clocks

oh for limitless time its self
for your hand to reach for my shelf
how many times have you read this tomb?
is there a favourite bit
that helps renewal?

and from my station on your desk
legs held up with stacks of books
I observe you ordering life
and all I can think is
move in
be my wife

I think im crazy
its all so soon
have I been reading
Mills and Boon?
Oh no
Lawrence was it
followed by
50 shades of it

and so
I smile
ive made myself laugh
I think of the shower
but need
a
bath
